AERIAL AND SATELLITE INSTALLATION, MOATVIEW COURT, BUSHEY, HERTFORDSHIRE

Through our solid relationship with Hightown Housing Association over the years, we were glad to come on board for a contract installing a Sky system to enable residents of a sheltered housing block to have Sky Q.

Depending on what Sky Q box a resident subscribe to, at its top level, it allows them to record up to 6 channels and watch a 7th, if they have enough screens to do so. It inspires a new viewing experience with HD and Ultra HD whilst facilitating multi-room function.

The block only had an aerial connection from its build stage and needed a brand-new installation. The basic factors to check over before we started the work were; to establish a clear signal in the area, alongside a good wifi connection; calculate the number of rooms the residents were viewing their TV’s from; ensure there were no obstructions from antenna to source, for example, buildings, trees, etc, and no other possible sources of interference. This enabled us to plan well for the design of the installation.

We removed the old dishes from the block and were able to set up a new Sky Q compatible satellite dish alongside related system equipment. Once connected to the residents’ flats, all cables were neatly clipped, and the system tested. The works overall were completed successfully, on time, and to a to a cost-effective outcome for Hightown Housing Association.
