Brightwell provides fast and efficient installation, repair, and maintenance services. We have many residential and commercial clients, but we also work for construction and industrial clients as well. Our expertise includes:

All members of our team are well-trained and experienced, working for us directly. This cuts out the need for sub-contractors and helps maintain our high quality standards. Our on-site teams are backed up by diligent and effective administration staff to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Our team stays up-to-date with the latest technical developments in the industry and they are friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Since our foundation in 1969 and with over 40 years’ combined service, we continue to offer industry-leading solutions using the latest technologies.

We ensure our vehicles carry all standard equipment to speed up jobs on-site. This equipment includes replacement amplifiers, aerials, satellite dishes, and other components. Our coverage areas include Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, Surrey, Middlesex, Oxford, and Greater and Central London.

Safety has been a key priority on all jobs we work on. Each member of our team is qualified to work at height and have general safety training, which includes operating cherry pickers.

Brightwell also has a number of industry and safety accreditations, which includes being a member of the Confederation of Aerial Industries. We are also Alcumus Safe Contractor approved and a Constructionline Gold Member. We follow the codes of practice of these organisations to ensure we stay at the forefront with the latest industry guidelines on safety and related issues.

Our steps toward carbon neutrality

It remains our pledge to continue to trade at a 100% carbon neutral capacity. We feel strongly that it is our responsibility to uphold not just the highest professional standards but environmental standards too.
This includes how we impact the environment as a company in terms of waste disposal, our vehicular, travel, and office carbon debt.

Carbon offsetting:
Working alongside Carbon Footprint Ltd, we have achieved over 100% positive carbon footprint for 2020-2021. We will continue to work with them to ensure we remain over 100% carbon neutral for 2021-2022.

This process is calculated in arrears which looks at fuel usage, heating, electricity, travel and any other CO2 emitting activities. Once calculated and verified, the necessary steps are taken to offset the carbon debt.

Waste disposal:
For the last two years we have been using a specialist waste disposal company to manage our waste and to ensure it does not end up in landfill.

We are continuing to look for ways to cut down on single-use plastics and packaging, sourcing products that are made in the UK, and searching for environmentally friendly alternatives where available.

Our charity support – charlie’s gift

Helping local causes and giving back to the community is important to everyone at Brightwell. After all, we live in and raise our families in the areas we operate in and support several events and initiatives. We are very pleased to continue our support for Charlie’s Gift, a Hertfordshire based charity, now in our fifth year. We donate £1,000 a year to Charlie’s Gift, which provides monetary grants and support to local children who face challenges because of health issues, disabilities, special needs, bereavement or poverty.

Bovingdon under 18’s football team This fantastic team, currently managed by a close friend, competes in a strong division and prepares the players for adult football. Now in our third season of sponsorship, the team are training hard for a successful finish to their junior career.

Bury judo club The club offers judo training for children and adults of all abilities, including SENCO qualified coaches. Having both practiced and coached at Bury Judo Club over many years, we are delighted to support the club for their Christmas medal presentation and buffet.

Boxmoor cricket club Through their volunteer coaches, the club offers a high standard of cricket tuition for players of all ages. A number of junior players have gone on to play senior cricket at a higher level. Having had two children play for Boxmoor, it has been a pleasure to support our local cricket club.

Grand union cricket clubA joint venture between Hemel and Boxmoor cricket clubs, aimed at developing cricket for girls aged 11-15. Their aim is to keep youngsters playing sport through the years when they would typically stop playing. This is our first season sponsoring a new group of players.
