MATV Systems

Master Antenna Television systems also known as communal or shared systems provide TV and radio receptions for mult occupied premises including hotels, offices, housing developments and even holiday parks. Local authorities, management companies and landlords are now moving over to a new state of technology which is one structured cable system to supply multiple programmes and information services to their end users. A high quality antenna and mast head amplifier should be used for small systems upto channel converters and processors for more complex sites, all of which will be determined from the amount of signal loss within the exsiting distribution system.

SMATV

Satellite Master Antenna Television systems also known as shared dish systems are the enhanced version of the M.A.T.V system which allows clients to additionally include Satellite programmes, with the terrestrial system.

These systems benefit from using a stand alone dish and a five cable backbone system then transfered to each dwelling on a single cable to each outlet point using different methods dependant on each customers specific requirements. Satellite signals are transmitted through two frequencies either IF to allow individual satellite receivers of UHF to allow one single receiver ie hotels.
